I enjoyed watching someone actually work on a first gen SRT8 300 but such a shame that no work went into properly building the engine. I know our 6.1L can take a beating with proper care but at 100K miles and no internals being swapped out is very questionable. Also incorrect fluids being used can't be a good thing. Not the biggest fan of the exterior mods done but I get that parts were provided by rockauto so not much of a say when it comes to that. Overall a decent "build" but nothing amazing. Like I said, I'm just glad someone actually made videos of an SRT8 300 being worked on.
@@mrcarman07 thanks for the follow man! Yeah not sure what they were thinking going with a 265 tire unless the tires were also provided by rockauto and if that was the case, they probably didn't have any choice in the matter lol
With the suspension changes, they might have been shooting for a stiffer tire, but I agree. The stock rims looked better and the tires for them would perform better as a daily driver. I bet these guys are in So-Cal since they don't seem to consider all season snow tires as needed for a daily driver. Big hint to you southerners: the all season snow tires grip better on dry and wet pavement than a rain tire and last longer if you buy good ones.
Thank you for this build videos. I have one of these 2007. Bought it new, still have it w over 100k miles, and there is no better car for the buck. (Should of kept stock rims, headlights and no stickers. = beast).
Should have left the stock rims on it, or something in the same size. Way too low of a sidewall. Also, either paint the rear calipers red, or the front ones silver.
glad i wasnt the only one thinking this. If i were to win it, there'd be a few things I would change for sure. Wheels/tires, oil filter, and exhaust to name a few.
hemiyacht charger I'd think 265 is plenty if the tyres and suspension are decent enough to put on a 550hp car? Going wider only kills the fun in the dry and makes it break out more suddenly and aggressively in the wet.
I stumbled across this series and fell in love with it. Maybe because I have a chrysler 300 that I been wanting to supe up like you guys did... overall great videos. Wish I had a chance at winning this
I hope I win !!! I have a 2.7L v6 2007 its a sleepy not sleeper had to replaced the engine since these command problem with the lifters :( need me srt like this one!!! Good job you guys ! Out done your self on this one love the wheels the set up looks great:) love the show keep them coming
shawn ollero worst engine but the good thing is that the transmission 4 speed is the same for 3.5L if I was you replace the engine to a 3.5L you won’t have to upgrade the transmission
Austin Kata there’s too many different taste for Chrysler I prefer the body I have on my Chrysler with the Bentley style grill over this one although I would like the mods this one has
👌 Looks good, I know things I will still have to do probably including replacing rear tires. If I recall for each revolution of a spinning tire it take approximately 3 miles off the tread life for each revolution but who’s counting.
Watched day 4 last week, lots of trolls there too. I don't think any of the top trash talkers would keep hating if you called them up and told em' they won. A lot of hard work and money. I just wanna say, It looks good and I imagine it's a ticket magnet. Fingers crossed. BTW, just bought an 02 sensor from Rock Auto, 25 bucks cheaper than the chain store AND OEM equipment! Rock Auto rules.
God I love the Chrysler 300 they are so nice extremely surprised on how this one turned out really hope I can be that one winner to get it jeez that car is so nice I pray I could win it 😍😍😍😍
I have a 06 Chrysler 300c srt8 that just hit 100,000 miles. How much did the supercharger and parts come to by themselves? Or how much would you guys charge to add all this to a customer's ride?
Yup, you can easily add a bluetooth receiver to the oem unit but its easier than ever now with android units. I recently installed a 9" android unit on mine that is perfectly plug and play and comes with its own oem looking faceplate. It brings the car up to date very quickly!
Perfect 😩 I had a 2006 Chrysler 300c and it wasn’t anywhere near as good as this one so I can’t hate. Too bad my engine blew couple months ago so I’m definitely going to be entering to win this !
22’s? No way, go back to 20’s, the size the car was engineered around, please. I hope the winner of this car lives where the roads are as smooth as silk! Great overall effort all around guys!
Robert D. I have 22s on my Charger and it rides like a normal car. No problems at all, and I just lowered my Charger last week with some Megan coil overs and it rides like a dream now ON 22’s. Their is nothing wrong with getting bigger wheels as long as it doesn’t look to big.
You couldn't fuel a car like that over here in Ireland as fuel isnt cheap, though it has came down on price since the C-19 issues. It would only be a weekend kinda thing over here (during the summer time)
Feel like with the power/handling upgrades, you guys should have at least thrown some "Blue Top" solenoids in the trans. Honestly, a Tranzformer would have been a good upgrade too (and it's adjustable) but Blue Tops are available from RockAuto...
Great work, I like it just how it sits. Never liked the 300 other than the Convertable version I saw years ago. But that one grew on me after the first episode of this.
Man I love that platform with the SRT8 and Chrysler my dad used to work for Chrysler for about five years when I was younger always loved that car hopefully I have a chance at winning I'm currently in college will no transportation if I win how start making RUclips videos about it and use it daily
I wish they did more on the body flaired those gards like it’s on steroids and did a muffler mayhem on that more rubber and my be sum writing on the wheels aye! Put those lights need to be changed vents on side raise the back old school style.
That burnout 👏👏 great job guys on the quick upgrade to that 300.
If I won that car. First thing ide do would be to take off that stupid sticker on the hood.
that is why it's a sticker, just do it on a hot day, or use a hairdryer to get it hot 1st
1st thing I'd do is yank every one of those E3 plugs.......
And those stupid red painted stripes!
GrimReaper4383 and those awful wheel set up. Smh
Nice modest build. Not over the top and shows what can be done in a couple of weekends. 👍👍
I actually enjoyed watching this build. Sounds great and looks great.
Awesome job guys. I enjoyed all of the videos about this build.

HPNO300 my thoughts exactly.
HPNO300 I follow you on IG haha. But I agree and those tires were 265s he ain't going to have traction
@@mrcarman07 thanks for the follow man! Yeah not sure what they were thinking going with a 265 tire unless the tires were also provided by rockauto and if that was the case, they probably didn't have any choice in the matter lol
Jaiden
Have u experienced with the 6.1L the over heat and waste heads that the 5.7L have?
Really would prefer the stock srt wheels
Mark Garcia exactly

Not only that but they probably rub a little. Oh and and good luck with them potholes.
I love my stocks, I want to see if i can get replicas built by a good name brand. I just want them lighter. Any suggestions guys?
same
Love the 300..It's a car you can drive downtown to a mafia meeting lol good bang for buck
Amazing transformation of an already classic and powerful ride!
I like the wheels and pinstriping!
Thank you for this build videos. I have one of these 2007. Bought it new, still have it w over 100k miles, and there is no better car for the buck. (Should of kept stock rims, headlights and no stickers. = beast).
At least want SRT8 badge tho so others know it's the highest league one u can buy 😉
Should have left the stock rims on it, or something in the same size. Way too low of a sidewall. Also, either paint the rear calipers red, or the front ones silver.
Not to mention the stock wheels actually looked pretty nice.
22 inch rims tires fucked up
22 can cause front fender rub on a 300
That’s what I love about these cars, they are great project vehicles, it looks good.
I really like the car all around!!!!! Very sharp and clean!!!
Whats with the factory silver brembos in the rear and red non labeled brembos up front? Looks very goofy
Did they just put 265s on a car with 550 hp
Phillip Abreu lol I was just about to post this
What's wrong about that?
glad i wasnt the only one thinking this. If i were to win it, there'd be a few things I would change for sure. Wheels/tires, oil filter, and exhaust to name a few.
Candisa no traction
hemiyacht charger I'd think 265 is plenty if the tyres and suspension are decent enough to put on a 550hp car? Going wider only kills the fun in the dry and makes it break out more suddenly and aggressively in the wet.
Great ride guys.I have enjoyed watching the build.
She's A Clean,Mean,Burning Rubber Machine. Great job guys
I stumbled across this series and fell in love with it. Maybe because I have a chrysler 300 that I been wanting to supe up like you guys did... overall great videos. Wish I had a chance at winning this
looks great i wonder what they did with the factory srt rims ?
i would take em cause someone stole mine a year ago ..
Guys yall did an excellent ride it has lots of power, Nice
should have gone with stock Hellcat wheels
Looks great, nice job, lots negative thoughts on here, of course theres always more you can do to a car if you have an endless budget.
Amazing job you and your crew did car looks great keep up the awesome work.
As a proud Chrysler 300 owner this brought joy to my life #moparnocar good job fellas
That midnight club thumbnail tho
M J 😅😅😅😅
FORRREAL BRO 😂. Lol I love playing Midnight Club 3
M J, I like the original taillights more.
Lol
Молодцы ребята! Love this car. Respect team
That 300 is sick af... nice work
I hope I win !!! I have a 2.7L v6 2007 its a sleepy not sleeper had to replaced the engine since these command problem with the lifters :( need me srt like this one!!! Good job you guys ! Out done your self on this one love the wheels the set up looks great:) love the show keep them coming
Shawn your car is sleepy.......not a sleeper.
2.7L Chrysler motor one of the worse engines ever
I hope you win Shawn!
shawn ollero worst engine but the good thing is that the transmission 4 speed is the same for 3.5L if I was you replace the engine to a 3.5L you won’t have to upgrade the transmission
Mark G tell me about it :(
Over 100k that engine will prob not last long with supercharger
Okay, Mr. Expert...
UR DAD very low psi not pushing 30 psi it's about 5-11PS Max I think on that.
that supercharger will go on the replacement engine for the first episode of "month to wicked-er"
Nah the 6.1L engines are fairly stout at 8psi, but anything over that and you atleast need to do internals. Then you can start turning it up
Considering FCA still uses Iron Blocks and Strong Innards. the motors are basically Bullet proof.
Everyone's mad, must not love Chrysler but hey this to me was a build I wanted to see happen and finally it has, not to bad but the rims gotta go
Austin Kata there’s too many different taste for Chrysler I prefer the body I have on my Chrysler with the Bentley style grill over this one although I would like the mods this one has
Nice light up at the end...
👍 cheers on the build.
Nice scratch on the wheel
Autometer mopar boost gauge would've been a nice touch with the supercharger. Was the diff fluid or ATF changed? A 100k mile car needs some TLC.
👌 Looks good, I know things I will still have to do probably including replacing rear tires. If I recall for each revolution of a spinning tire it take approximately 3 miles off the tread life for each revolution but who’s counting.

The alarm at the end 👌!
Great burnout at the end!
God I love the Chrysler 300 they are so nice extremely surprised on how this one turned out really hope I can be that one winner to get it jeez that car is so nice I pray I could win it 😍😍😍😍

Nice build evryone involed ,, a tried and tested car with all the fruits !!
Great job guys.
I would have changed the radio as well, getting rid of that outdated factory one.
Yup, you can easily add a bluetooth receiver to the oem unit but its easier than ever now with android units. I recently installed a 9" android unit on mine that is perfectly plug and play and comes with its own oem looking faceplate. It brings the car up to date very quickly!
Awesome thanks have a great time
Jeff is bad azz loving my new ride lol can’t wait to win lol just my wishful thinking she would sure look good out here with me tho
Perfect 😩 I had a 2006 Chrysler 300c and it wasn’t anywhere near as good as this one so I can’t hate. Too bad my engine blew couple months ago so I’m definitely going to be entering to win this !
Love the build!
Nice really enjoyed the videos. I have a 06 300 C will be add n a few extras on it
Can I get the parts y’all taking off so I can put them in my 06 300 srt8. Please ‼️
22’s? No way, go back to 20’s, the size the car was engineered around, please. I hope the winner of this car lives where the roads are as smooth as silk! Great overall effort all around guys!

mobile wheel n tire change was sweet out of a van

Beautiful car
I lost it when they put 22inch rims on it
imagine going from no car to this bruh i’d cry
A drunk driver smashed mine this passed Tuesday night September 24th, head on collision but I came out with no injuries.
Cant wait till the giveaway tbh.
How much would it cost for me to get my 300c that has 5.7 himi in it built up
Great work, I like it just how it sits. Never liked the 300 other than the Convertable version I saw years ago. But that one grew on me after the first episode of this.
They should have done up the rear axle. The stockers are 3.06 open diff not LSD. 3:42 LSD or better is a must.
man cant wait to win
Should have unveiled it at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit.
Those rims look very stupid in my opinion
Deranged Perhaps yup. Stock SRT rims look better
They looked hot on midnight club lol
I have the original rims on my SRT 8
They should've put Chrome ones on the car
go complete niggah DUBS style
They're called wheels.
I love you guys
Man I love that platform with the SRT8 and Chrysler my dad used to work for Chrysler for about five years when I was younger always loved that car hopefully I have a chance at winning I'm currently in college will no transportation if I win how start making RUclips videos about it and use it daily
what kind of paint was used for the pinstriping that wipes away so easily?
good wheel choice
Nice car well done
My OCD hates the fact that those back calipers are silver 🤷🏾♂️
The stock rims looks better and then you put some ugly aftermarket lights, when the stock one look better🤦🏾♂️
Didn't see a before,and after dyno pull!!!!!
Awesome!
Très belle la voiture vraiment
only set off one car alarm ?
When are they gonna announce the winner?
??????
Still no winner?
Curious. Are those wheels hub centric from the manufacturer?
Like everything except the goofy wheels and the red pinstripe , I love my 300 wish it was the V8 mine has a Turbo Diesel
I miss my 300 so much. Got hit. ;( 2010 300c 5.7 hemi. 92k miles
That car looks gangster, nevermind the comment section. It looks good.
You guys should do a mercury maurader
That's cool whatever happened to it
Looking at the thumbnail all i hear is “riders on the storm” from need for speed
5:22 when you get in someone elses car and dont know what any button is lol
Ambizious Vlogs he looked so confused
It’s on the 50/50 line not a big fan of the rims my sister has one and it’s awesome
I'm not a 300 car guy but this is a good one
425 at crank
How much hp to the wheels?
425hp without SC..
Really wanna unleash the power do a cam swap with the blower
i wish my 06 300c had this done to it my gosh sick
I WANT that car.. But sheeeeet.. I live in Central Europe and I can't register :'(
Killed it with the pin stripe decals. Should have left them all black. Also no on the wheels. Should left the OEM wheels on it.
Who won never saw the contest results
Wow that's awesome
Whow won the car!!!
cool car
Take car of my car man..run it thru its paces cuz I gotta drive it back to Philly brah lol
I wish they did more on the body flaired those gards like it’s on steroids and did a muffler mayhem on that more rubber and my be sum writing on the wheels aye! Put those lights need to be changed vents on side raise the back old school style.
Those wheels were inspired by an ox cart.
I have a 2016 Kia Optima you can work on...
